Rutledge Family Medical Centre recognises and celebrate the rich diversity of LGBTIQ+ communities, our team and our patients, including the many intersectional identities that exist among us. 

We aim to provide a safe environment to access care for all.

Can We - Community platform on reducing cancer for LGBTQ communities.

Silver Rainbow: Ageing and Aged Care - Through this project, LGBTIQ+ Health Australia educates service providers, policy makers, LGBTI people and the general community about how to meet the needs of LGBTI elders. We also connect LGBTI elders to services and resources. Together we are working to ensure aged care services are inclusive of the diverse genders, bodies, sexualities and relationships of older Australians.

LGBTIQ+ Health Australia - Together for health - Supporting healthy lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans/transgender, intersex, queer and other sexuality, gender, and bodily diverse people and communities throughout Australia and the world, free from stigma and discrimination.

Rainbow Families -  Programs helping future parents explore their family-making options through to antenatal classes, lactation support, playgroups, kids’ personal safety programs and social events, Rainbow Families fights systemic discrimination with love and affirming action.

BlaQ- Committed to empowering the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, Asexual + Sistergirl and Brotherboy community through innovation, inclusion, understanding and advocacy.

QLife is a telephone and webchat service that provides anonymous and free LGBTIQ+ peer support and referrals for people in Australia wanting to talk about sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships. QLife can be reached online or via telephone on 1800 184 527, and is open 3pm to midnight, 7 days a week.
