Fees
Doctors at our premises are tenants and independent practitioners who set their own fees. This allows them to provide longer, more thorough consultations and maintain a high standard of care for our patients. This approach helps ensure we can continue to provide accessible, sustainable, high-quality healthcare for our community.
Most of the tenant doctors at our premises are private billing. Should you be experiencing financial hardship, please chat with your doctor around options that would work best for your family.
Please also note that our tenant doctors manage their own advertising and booking availability.
Please see the attached document for our updated Fee Schedule. All fees are payable on the day.
Bulk Billing
Tenant doctors have advised us that they can continue to offer bulk billing for selected services and patient groups, including:
-
Children under 5 years (with a valid concession card)
-
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander patients with a valid concession card and registered with our practice for MyMedicare
-
DVA Gold Card holders
-
DVA White Card holders (for approved conditions)
-
Care plans, health assessments
-
Mirena and Implanon insertions/removals
If you’re unsure whether you are registered for MyMedicare, our reception team can assist you. Please follow this link for more advice on My Medicare.
Additional Fees
Some consultations and procedures may attract additional fees depending on time, complexity, and equipment required.
-
Skin procedures and biopsies
-
Other procedure as discussed with the practitioner
Informed financial consent is important. Your doctor may discuss any additional costs with you prior to proceeding. You can always contact the reception for additional information or to convey your queries to your treating doctor.
Payment and Medicare Rebates
-
Payment is required on the day of your appointment, along with digital consent each time you present to the practice in person or via telehealth/video call. This is a government mandate, and the reception staff will do their best to support you.
-
Medicare rebates are processed immediately via Easyclaim. Sometimes Medicare may reject your claim. Your consent will be required to process your claim again. You can also request a copy of the invoice and request your claim from Medicare.
-
Your rebate is directly processed into your nominated bank account, when the patient claiming option is used.
Missed Appointments
Missed appointments or short-notice cancellations will incur a fee of $55 for standard consultations. Some doctors may charge a higher cancellation fee. This helps tenant doctors ensure appointment availability for all patients. Please review the Fee Schedule.
