Practice History
Dr A D Gillespie founded the practice in July 1954. Initially he practised from his residence in Queanbeyan. In 1959 Dr Nancy Griffith amalgamated her practice with Dr A D Gillespie. They leased premises behind the old Commonwealth Bank in Monaro Street.
In 1964 Dr Tony Graham joined the practice and worked until 1971. In 1973 Dr Peter Renshaw joined the practice. It was then known as “The Surgery” and in 1978 “The Surgery” was relocated to Rutledge Plaza Medical Centre.
Dr Michael De Sailly joined the practice in 1977, retiring in 2006. Dr Nancy Griffith retired in 1981 and Dr A D Gillespie retired in 2000. Dr Peter Davis joined the practice in 1995. There have been several part time and short term doctors over the years, since then as trends change in General Practice. In December 2017 Dr Peter Renshaw retired from the practice.
On 11 February 2018 moved to new premises which is now known as Rutledge Family Medical Centre, 2/114 Crawford Street, Queanbeyan.
