At your visit

In line with Medicare rules, the GP who does your procedure needs to see you for an initial consultation first. Your GP then books a longer appointment for the procedure. For a fresh cut or injury, call reception so you can be fitted in.

Cost

Procedures may have an out-of-pocket cost, depending on the procedure and the GP. Medicare rebates apply to most. Your GP explains the cost before you go ahead. See fees
